This new program with Dana Garrett teaches the art of the digital camera, including the fundamentals through specific subject matter techniques.  

12:30-3:30pm Friday - Sunday

Open to people 15+ years of age

Off-site photography is scheduled separately

Advance registration is required

May 9 – 11:  The Photographer’s Eye: 

Description: Learn how to visualize the photographic composition before looking through the view finder on your camera

 

June 20 -22:  The Fundamentals of Photography

Description: Learn the basics of camera functions and composition

 

July - No Class

 

August 8 - 10 

Subject: Advanced Composition

Description: Learned advanced methods and techniques for creating your photographic compositions

 

September 19 - 21:  Landscape Photography 

Description: Learn what makes a great landscape image

 

October 3-5:  Black and White Photography 

Description: Learn how to determine if a setting should be captured as a black and white of color, and how to convert your images to black and white

November 14 - 16:  Architectural Photography 

Description: Architecture is a cultural phenomenon. Learn how to capture it.

December 12 - 14:  Converting Your Digital Images into Black and White Darkroom Photographs 

 

Description: This course is for advanced digital photographers who want to convert their digital image files into Black and White photographs made in a darkroom
